New Scanner Access
(Monday, August 16, 2004) - While the Aboite Independent prides itself on covering news in Aboite Township like nobody else can, and continues to provide a number of first and exclusive stories at this site, there can be no doubt, our most popular service is our Scanner page. As more and more public service agencies continue to move their communications to 800MHz digital-trunked systems, we continue to add their radio traffic to this site. On the ‘ISP, Allen County Police & Fire Radio’ page we are now pleased to provide our reader/listeners with additional communications from volunteer fire departments, medics, and the Indiana State Police. Our thanks to those individuals who work with us to provide the necessary data to update this service.
